  1. He was a masterful conman to con an entire nation. But the conman’s nemesis is when he is delusional to the point that he thinks the con is no longer a ruse but a reality. Basically he cons himself. How could he possibly delude himself into thinking that Italy could match the industrial power of the allies? This 20th Century Caesar was laughable but none should dismiss his murderous ways in rise to power.He was a criminal as well.
