As will become apparent as the discussion continues, Country Club memberships are not all that dissimilar to healthcare financing.

Let’s illustrate the last point with an analogy. Can you imagine if the government colluded with all the high-priced exclusive Country Clubs to “persuade” golfers to use their business model in order to access golf courses. The law would require that every golfer be mandated to buy an expensive membership in order to play golf.
