The dogma of healthcare “exceptionalism” which holds healthcare doesn’t respond to market forces is starting to take some serious hits. This data shows consumers/patients are capable of, and often make, (pre-planned) informed medical decisions when given meaningful information, as supported by observation-dervived data and economic behavior.


A primary care physician by training, my passion is researching and writing about the importance restoring patient centered care, supporting independent private physicians, promoting free-market solutions and seeking sustainable fiscal policy in healthcare.
