News Flash: Preventing new cases is NOT the correct metric! “Stopping” this virus is, and always was, a fool’s errand.
The only way it goes away is when it has no host in which to replicate. And that is predicated on large scale immunity, which can only occur two ways: Exposure/infection with the virus OR large scale use of an effective vaccine.
The initial goal of preserving the ability of the healthcare resources to take care of the sickest COVID19 patients was valid. And isolation/protection of the most vulnerable should still be the focus.
Sequestering the healthy is a futile contrivance that deprives people of the resources to sustain themselves, thus weaking the infrastructure of society. ~ Forum for Healthcare Freedom
